Give each charge a row
Separate the provider fee, government charges and optional services. Ask whether tax, delivery or document certification is included when relevant. Do not add an assumed fee from a general article. If a charge is not stated, mark it unknown and ask the provider. An empty box is not zero.
Separate first payment and renewal
Build two columns: what you pay to start and what can recur. For ongoing services, record the covered period, renewal price if known and cancellation terms. Company filing and tax obligations are separate from subscriptions sold by a provider. Ask a qualified adviser which obligations apply to the actual entity.
Read what the outcome excludes
A submitted application, an issued registration and an approved bank account are different outcomes. Check the delivery milestone, dependencies on your documents and refund terms if an application cannot proceed. Do not treat a processing estimate as a guaranteed date. Save the written answer beside the quote.
Keep a decision note
Finish with the selected scope, unresolved questions and who will check the next step. This makes the comparison useful to a co-founder or accountant. FoundStart readers can use this method with any provider; it is not a current price list, legal advice or a promise of registration, banking or tax results.
